BioAs of SEPT 2010 I will be making my main home at my DW account (under the same name). If you're crossposting from DW to LJ please let me know and I'll add you to my circle and kill the LJ link. This wil make my life much simpler and avoid duplication on my reading lists. *G*
My fic journal (Rurics_den) is also migrating to DW (probaly the weekend of 10/11th Sept) and will no longer be hosted on LJ. It will eventually be mirrored on AO3.
I'll be crossposting and maintaining a presence on LJ because I don't want to lose touch with those of you who are happy on LJ. It's just time for me to (mostly) move on!

Philosophy of life can be eloquently summed up as:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!" ~ Hunter S Thompson (allegedly)!
It should be noted that I'm doing relatively well in living up to this.
I write (not prolifically), I ramble about conventions, I snark about work and current world events. If you're looking for in depth meta you're in the wrong place - mostly I come here to have fun.
